Meaningful change often begins with greater self-reflection and a deeper understanding of why we think, feel, and behave the way we do. That’s where lasting personal growth begins.

About me

I was involved in competitive sport for many years and experienced both the rewards and the challenges that come with it. One of my biggest struggles was dealing with performance anxiety before competitions — and looking back, this was one of the reasons I eventually stepped away from competitive sport. Sport has always been important to me, which is why I went on to study Health Promotion and Prevention. At the same time, I was drawn to psychology and what drives human behaviour. Sport psychology felt like the natural intersection of both.

Through my own experience, my studies, and time spent around competitive athletes, I became aware that sport is often heavily focused on physical performance — while the mental side receives far less attention. Yet mental strength, confidence, focus, and wellbeing play a huge role in both performance and long-term fulfilment. This led me to specialise in sport psychology, and later to expand my work through systemic coaching. Both areas focus on helping people navigate challenges, gain clarity, build confidence, and move forward in a way that feels authentic to them.

Approach

I would describe my approach as supportive, collaborative, and tailored to the individual. Creating a trusting, non-judgmental space is central to my work — I want people to feel comfortable talking openly about their thoughts, emotions, and challenges. My work combines evidence-based methods from sport psychology with a systemic perspective. Rather than focusing only on performance or a specific problem, I look at the person as a whole and consider the broader context they are operating in.

Systemic Coaching

Coaching is for anyone who feels like something is no longer quite right — but isn’t sure what the next step should be. Whether you’re considering a career change, navigating a life transition, or feeling stuck despite working hard, coaching can help you find clarity, reconnect with what matters to you, and move forward with greater confidence.

WHAT DOES SYSTEMIC MEAN?

A systemic approach means looking at you as a whole person — not just the problem in front of you. Our thoughts, emotions and decisions are shaped by many different factors, and understanding that context often reveals new possibilities. The focus is on asking the right questions, creating space for reflection, and developing new perspectives together. The goal is to find your own answers and rediscover the resources and personal strengths you already carry within you.

Practice Insights

Before a game against one of the strongest teams in Germany, I worked with a basketball team on building their self-confidence. Instead of focusing on the opponent, we first made their own strengths visible. The players shared observations about each other’s abilities and recognised how many resources were already present within the team. Only after that did we look at the opponent. The result: the team went into the game with significantly more confidence, clarity and inner composure.

1:1 Sport Psychology Coaching

Often it’s not physical conditions that stand in the way of athletic performance — it’s pressure, self-doubt or high expectations. In individual sport psychology coaching, I support athletes in building mental strength and confidence so they can unlock their potential with more joy, consistency and composure.

Practice Insights

An athlete came to coaching wanting to improve their performance. During our work together it became clear that much of their stress came from linking their self-worth to results. Together we developed a healthier relationship with mistakes. This not only improved their wellbeing — they were also able to perform more freely, confidently and consistently.

I’d rather people feel understood than impressed.
